BRIAN E. SMITH, CCIM

Brian Smith is a Senior Associate at Commercial Industrial Properties (CIP), with experience in acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing in retail, office, and industrial. With over 25 years of experience in finance, business, and commercial real estate, Brian leverages his expertise to deliver innovative and tailored solutions for his clients.

His background in executive leadership and business operations complement his deep knowledge of industrial development and leasing operations, enabling him to navigate complex transactions with ease.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University and in 2022 earned his designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He is an active member of the Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (CTCAR), Austin Regional Manufacturers Association, and serves as a board member for the Central Texas Chapter of the CCIM Institute. 

Outside of work, Brian is an avid endurance athlete and enjoys doing outdoor high adventure trips in the backcountry. He and his wife have been a part of the Austin community since 1992 and have three adult children.
